What is Net Neutrality? Why Donald Trump taking step back from this principle?

 

What is Net Neutrality?

The Internet Service Providers (ISPs) should have to maintain all the data on the Internet the same is known as “Net neutrality”, It should not show favoritism or blame in a different way by the client, website, platform, content, application, nature of attachment equipment or way of communication.  For example, by this rule Internet Service Providers can’t block, slow down or charge money for a specific client, website or to an organization intentionally.

America can’t be accepted “Net Neutrality”, which principle allows to treat all are equal in the Internet.  American Telecom service providers are showing interested to bring back their commitment from “Net Neutrality” principle only.  

The Federal Communication Commission (FCC), which appointed by Mr. Donald Trump Government put end card for the principle of “Net Neutrality”, which came in to force by former American President Mr. Barak Obama.  Mr. Ajit Pai, Chairman of FCC, who appointed by Republican Party had proposed to oppose “Net Neutrality” was approved in the voting.  

The critics and political analysts opined that “it looks like this will be much damage to the benefits of Internet users and will be benefited to the big corporate companies”.  The technology companies, internet users associations, etc are thinking to challenge the FCC about this issue in a statutory way.

Former American President Mr. Barak Obama restricted Internet Service Providers to charge on users, data, content, videos, websites and block specific website or user by indiscriminately with “Net Neutrality” principle.  Recently FCC has dismissed these rules.  In this context, many supporters of “Net Neutrality” are opposing FCC’s decision.

The The Federal Communication Commission (FCC) Chairman Mr. Ajit Pai and members are justifying their decision that, “many innovations will come in Internet by dismissing Net Neutrality principle”,  “the Federal Trade Commission may take suitable action on Internet Service Providers (ISP) when if they discomfiture to the competition in Internet” they clarified.

Who will affect due to dismissal of “Net Neutrality”?

As per the analysts opinion, the internet users, online business holders, Internet Service Providers will affect from this dismissal of Net Neutrality.  Especially, the popular very big telecom companies like Comcast, Verizon, AT&T may use the internet for their wish with full of freedom, which may resulted to hike the internet charges and may get back the technology startup companies.
